Jim Doherty is the new owner of Metro Tune & Lube

(March 4, 2008 - Phoenix, AZ) - Metro Tune & Lube's Jim Doherty continues the family tradition of a locally owned automotive shop that has been a solid fixture of northwest Phoenix for over eighteen (18) years. Doherty brings his considerable automotive experience and management expertise to the team at Metro Tune & Lube effective March 1, 2008.

"Our business has been built upon quality work and customer loyalty," said Doherty. "Dan Morrison has been with Metro Tune & Lube for many years and is a ASE Certified Master Mechanic. With our seven bay service facility, we can get your car or truck repaired and get you on your way as quickly as possible. We'll even give you a free ride to work or home while your car or truck is repaired."

Cars have always interested Doherty who has in his collection a modified European SMARTCar and a collector's model Jeep that ended the era for one of Jeep's most popular cars.

"Our new four post hydraulic lift gives us more shop capacity," added Doherty. "We keep trying to improve our shop to provide complete car services to our clientele. And ladies ... come in for an honest estimate. Our shop manager will explain your car’s necessary repairs and will show you what needs to be done to keep your car safe and dependable."
